A Night at ZAUO, graphite and paper, 11″ x 14″, 2025

This drawing is of an evening my family spent at a restaurant in Tokyo where you catch your own seafood and then the chefs cook it for you to eat. My two little grandsons were captivated by the experience and I wanted to attempt to capture the look of wonder on their faces.
